Block of the Month

We all have projects that pile up no matter what we do. Any hobby or work project that we put off or get behind on. How do you catch up? I participate in Blocks of the Month as well as Sew Alongs to improve my skills. In theory I will have a completed quilt top when I am done.

Recently I decided I wanted to participate in the Moda Blockheads 3. Fortunately, they have drafted some of their best designers. Not only do we get free patterns weekly for a block , but we also get tips and tricks.

Quilter’s Dream Block of the Month

I have been using A Quilting Life’s blog post referenced below to try and catch up on my two other current blocks of the month. One from Quilter’s Dream and one from Quilting is My Therapy. I am finally caught up on Quilting is My Therapy. I still have 3 blocks for Quilter’s Dream and I still haven’t started Blockheads.

Sometimes it is best to save or print off your sew along directions and catch up when you can. No need to stress and no need to worry. There will always be another quilt project, a sew along, or a block of the month. Focus on what makes you happy and take steps to move forward.
