WIP Wednesday November

As the year comes to an end I find myself racing to finish projects again. I always say I will plan better next year and it never seems to be true. This year was no different. Moving didn’t help.

After taking a color class by Eva Blake’s Makery I decided to reduce my unfinished projects and projects in grocery sacks. Using her “Plan to Quilt” book has helped me narrow down the projects I really want to get done. As a result I have actually been able to get more done towards the end of the year.

Just Get it Done Quilts also has an amazing YouTube video on how to decide what to keep and what to let go of. Find my most recent finishes below.

  1. Thank you for this post. First of all, I love the way you display your beautiful work. Your sunflower quilt made me think of my sister, who just loves sunflowers. Also, this time of year has me thinking of what I have done and what I could do better next year. After a few more small projects I need to do, I will be reorganizing my room. I am looking ahead and planning for next year. The idea of knowing what to keep and what to let go is just what I need to work on. Thanks for the youtube suggestion.

    1. You are welcome. She also has a series she has started on reorganizing your sewing room. On the part 1 video she links to her videos and on her Instagram she links to other bloggers doing similar things.
